SCHOOL-WIDE INITIATIVE
Schools today can consist of hundreds, if not thousands of students. Being shy in an environment that does not always allow it can be very difficult for the individual, especially considering any other factors in the student's life that occur outside of school. This difficulty can cause the individual to connect school with negative thoughts and bad connotations. Making sure that the school can cater to the individual is difficult, but there are ways where the school is able to reach out.
- The school can conduct assessments to measure shyness levels within the student population.
- Shyness workshops with the students.
- Identify the shy students and work with them in a small group setting to decide whether or not they need treatment.
